General Information

Is there internet / free wifi on the campsite?

Ardennes Camping Bertrix does not have wireless internet everywhere. In the bar, on the terrace and around the swimming pool you can use the Wifi for free.

Are pets allowed?

A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per pitch of rental accommodation. Pets must always be kept on a leash (also in the woods). Hygienic walks of dogs must be done outside the camp grounds. Pets are not allowed in some buildings (e.g. sanitary blocks). It is not allowed to leave pets unattended. For any damage or contamination, the owner of the animal is liable. The owner must also ensure that the presence of his pet does not disturb other campers.

Is the campsite suitable for disabled persons?

Ardennen Camping Bertrix has adapted sanitary facilities for disabled persons, such as a wheelchair accessible shower and toilet. However, it is important to know that the campground is a terraced campground, which means the terrain may be hilly and therefore less accessible for disabled persons and wheelchair users. Keep this in mind when planning your stay.

Reservations

How does booking work?

To make a reservation you can enter the period and choose from the rental accommodations and camping pitches. In step 2 of the online booking process you have the opportunity to book an accommodation or pitch with a preference. A preferred pitch only becomes definitive after you have received confirmation from us. In the fourth step there is a price list, after which you can enter your details. By sending your reservation, you agree with the campsite regulations and the reservation conditions. After receipt of the booking confirmation from Ardennen Camping Bertrix, the deposit(s) will be paid by you within the stipulated period(s).

Can I pass on a preference?

We try to take into account the wishes and preferences of the camper as much as possible. A passed on place number or wish is always subject to change. For more information consult the conditions.

Arrival & Departure

What time may I arrive/depart for a pitch?

If you have reserved a pitch, you can enter your pitch from 1:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure you have to leave the pitch clean before 12:00 hrs.

What time may I arrive/depart for an accommodation?

On the day of arrival you can enter your accommodation from 16:00. On the day of departure you have to leave the accommodation before 10:00.

During the stay

Do I pay extra for showering or swimming?

The use of pool and showers is included. So you don't pay anything extra.

How many amps of electricity are there?

All pitches (average size 90 m²) have an electricity connection of 10 amps. The use of a Euro plug is required for this. These are also available in our campsite store.

Can I drink the water?

There is at least 1 tap per camping bay that you share with your fellow campers. Pitches 128-151 and 223-242 have an individual water tap to which you can connect your caravan. We ask a supplement for these places. The water in the sanitary buildings and from the taps near the camping pitches is drinkable water. However, it tastes different from what you are used to at home because there is more lime in the water.

Is there entertainment during the vacations?

In most school vacations we provide a Dutch recreation and outdoor sports program for children, youth and adults. Look here for more information.

Can I charge my electric car?

Yes, you can charge your electric or hybrid car at Ardennes Camping Bertrix. We have our own charging stations, which makes our campsite ideal for electric drivers. 

Our charging stations offer a total of 4 connections with a maximum capacity of 22 kW. This means you can charge your electric car quickly and efficiently during your stay. 

Can I pay with an ATM card?

At the reception and in our restaurants you can pay with your debit card. However, in the surroundings of the campsite it is still very common to pay with cash. So make sure you always have cash with you. At our outdoor partner Cap Nature, in the wooden chalet opposite the reception, it is also only possible to pay with cash. It is not possible to withdraw cash at the reception, but you can do so at an ATM in the village of Bertrix.
